Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hoops College’s training programs, facility, website, online store, and mobile app. By creating an account, registering yourself or your child for a program, renting a court, buying a day pass, or making a purchase, you agree to them.

Accounts and eligibility

Accounts are for adults (18+). Parents and legal guardians create and manage profiles for their child athletes and are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.

Memberships and billing

• Membership plans bill on the schedule shown when you enroll (for example, monthly). Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal; we do not store card numbers.
• Some plans include a minimum commitment period, shown before you enroll. Cancelling before the end of a commitment may be subject to the plan’s stated terms.
• Where a plan allows pauses, pause limits (such as days per year) are shown in the plan terms and applied automatically.
• Prices may change; we will give notice before a change affects a renewing subscription.
• If a payment fails we will retry and notify you. Sessions and bookings may be paused while an account is past due.

Sessions, cancellations, and refunds

• Booked sessions can be cancelled up to the cancellation window shown for your plan (typically 24 hours before the session). Cancelling inside the window returns the session credit.
• Late cancellations and no-shows may forfeit the session credit and, where the plan says so, incur a stated fee.
• If we cancel a session, you keep the credit or receive an equivalent make-up opportunity.
• Store purchases, day passes, and court rentals are refundable as described at the point of purchase; contact us about problems with any purchase.

Waivers and assumption of risk

Basketball and athletic training involve inherent risk of injury. Participation requires a signed liability waiver (and, where applicable, a program contract), which you sign electronically before participating. Those signed documents are part of your agreement with us; if these terms and a signed waiver or contract conflict, the signed document controls for its subject matter.

Facility rules and conduct

• Follow posted facility rules and staff instructions.
• Respectful behavior is required of athletes, parents, and guests. We may decline or end participation, without refund of forfeited time, for conduct that endangers others, harasses staff or participants, or repeatedly disrupts programming.
• Guests and spectators are welcome in designated areas.

Court rentals and day passes

Rentals and day passes grant access only for the reserved time and space, are not transferable for commercial use (running your own paid programming in our facility requires a separate agreement), and require each participant to be covered by a signed waiver.

Communications

We send transactional email and texts (receipts, reminders, schedule changes) as part of the service. Marketing messages are optional and controlled by you — see our Privacy Policy for details, including how to stop texts (reply STOP).

Our content

Training materials, evaluations, branding, and the software behind this platform belong to Hoops College or its licensors. You may use them for your own (or your child’s) participation, not for republication or commercial use.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website, app, and programs are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hoops College disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here replaces the signed waivers, which govern participation risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which our facility operates, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that state.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
